Starting in January I subjected myself to more horror than I typically would, by attending all ten screenings of ENTER THE KINGDOM, a retrospective of Stephen King film adaptations hosted by the Athena Cinema. The last show was tonight.
As a genre, I generally don’t love scary movies, however Stephen King has always been one of my favorite writers and I love the way his mind works. So this was a fun personal challenge for me and I’m proud to say I made it to all 10 of the shows!
Thanks to all the friends who joined me along the journey, which included gathering for tacos at El Tenampa each week before entering the kingdom. Tacos and terror, olé!
