Kara's Birthday in Athens

Kara came to A-town once again to celebrate her birthday! It's a fabulous tradition. A bunch of us got together at the Blue Gator to celebrate! Julie made a Kitty Litter cake. It was ENORMOUS. She made a chocolate cake AND a vanilla cake, and crumbled them up into a (brand new) litter box. Also, bright green vanilla flavored pudding, and chocolate covered peanuts for poop! It was disgusting, but delicious. Lucky me got the leftovers in my fridge. Even with snacking on it daily, there was seriously hardly even a dent in this thing!!!

Summer's birthday is approaching soon also, so we celebrated that as well.

After dinner, we went to The Union and had Irish Car Bombs! Yum.

Sex and the City Series Finale

In honor of the final episode of Sex and the City, we gathered at Jason's house for a potluck. We all dressed as characters from the show! I was Charlotte, Summer was Miranda, Suzanne was Samantha, Yumi was Carrie, and Jason was Stanford.

We had delicious food and beverages, and watched all of the specials leading up to the grand finale, and then the finale. And we all totally cried. What are we going to do without this show?!

Tea Party at Valerie's

When Dinah announced that she would be moving across the country, Valerie threw her a going away Tea Party! I was so excited to go to Valerie's house, because I hadn't been there since I was little, and her house is so fun! She has antiques, Victorian trinkets, and little knick-knacks EVERYWHERE. I've never seen anything like it. It's truly amazing! I was also excited because I had never been to a real tea party before!

Modeling Shoot

Suzanne did a modeling shoot with me. I've never done a modeling shoot before! She wants practice, so she's having her friends wear lots of makeup and she practices shooting them. It was super weird to have on that much makeup and stuff! And I shook my little tush on the catwalk. Yeah, on the catwalk.

Christmas Elves

For Christmas this year, I wanted to get my sister a serving tray. A simple, wooden -slat serving tray with handles. That does not sound so hard to find, does it? Well, I couldn't find one ANYWHERE.

So, Dad and I decided to make one! And we figured, while we were at it, why not make FOUR!? So we toiled away in Dad's shop like little elves, making the trays! It was fun, and they turned out AWESOME. I have one hanging in my kitchen right now!

Rabecca and Chad's 6th Annual Christmas Bash!

This weekend we got together with friends at Chad and Rabecca's house for the annual holiday party! We had a gift exchange, champagne, snacks, and Christmas music! An all around great time.

Columbus Girls Trip

This weekend, a bunch of us girls headed to Columbus for a Girls Trip! We dined, danced, and shopped. We also had a great before/after photo shoot while getting ready to go out.

Halloween Party at my house!

Adam and I had folks over once again this year for the annual Uptown Halloween Block Party! It was a good time as usual. My folks even came! Then when Dad got home, he called my party pretending to be the cops! Ha! Trickster. I went uptown with only my I.D. and some money, and arrived back home with a ping pong ball and a whip!
