Happy Graduation, Little Kate!

Little Kate graduated from Athens High School on Saturday! Go Bulldogs, Class of 2026! We had a lunch to celebrate, and I made coconut layer cake.

But first, to the high school for the ceremony!

We gathered at mom and dad's house after the cermony for a celebration lunch. Mer made hammy sammies, mom made a veggie tray, and I made the cake!

 

Then she also had a graduation party this evening at the Zenner House with three of her friends.

They each set up a table with photos and memorabilia.

It was a beautiful evening to celebrate a very special lady.

Porchfest 2026

Today was Porchfest 2026! This year they had bands on the West side on Saturday in additon to Sunday's bands on the East side. I only went to the Sunday lineup. We started at noon with Larry Elefante!

Then we headed to see Emily Singer & The Heartbeats.

Then we took a little break for some euchre.

Next up we saw Chris Michael and the Andrews.

Then we caught some of Ready Aim Flowers.

After that we popped by to see the Athens County Jazz Stompers for a bit.

And we ended the afternoon with the Caitlin Kraus Band. What a great event!
