Happy birthday to me!

I've had a super fun birthday week! My actual birthday was Wednesday, which started off rough because I got the COVID and flu vaccines on Tuesday, so Wednesday was spent resting and recovering from those.

Thursday is our usual euchre night at my house, and my friends spoiled and surprised me! Cupcakes!!

Heather brought a whole bag full of temporary pirate tattoos, and we applied ALL. OF THEM. It was so fun! Arrrr, matey!

Then on Friday night, we had a family birthday party! We played Golf, of course! 

Dad was the big champion!

For dinner we had a veggie tray...

...and Avalanche pizza! Yum!

And then the cherry on top was a visit from Beth!!! Her birthday was Monday, we're birthday twins! She was in Ohio from Seattle, visiting her dad. So she came over to Athens tonight for the evening and we took each other out to Casa for our birthdays! It was so fun to celebrate together. It's been a really excellent birthday.

28th Annual Ohio Pawpaw Festival

Yumi, Valerie, Janna and I headed out to Pawpaw Fest on Friday night. We ate lots of good food, played a good bit of euchre, and listened to awesome music!

J. Roddy Walston & The Automatic were super awesome.

We headed back out early on Saturday, to catch Chris Michael and the Andrews. So good!!

Saturday evening after the festival, I went over to Mom and Dad's for cards. Look at the beautiful rainbow we saw! 

Bobkitties Cabin Weekend

A group of us OHIO Bobcat alumni girlfriends got a cabin in the Hocking Hills this weekend!

We brought lots of edible glitter, so we enjoyed many sparkly beverages throughout the weekend.

I made lasagna for Friday evening dinner.

We did this puzzle of a Mexican feast!

For breakfast on Saturday, Kara made a breakfast casserole. Yum!

We played Ticket To Ride. TOOT TOOT!!

We tried a new game called Puns of Anarchy, and it was really fun. Recommend!

Happy Birthday, Dad!

Tonight we gathered at Mer and Pete's to celebrate Dad's birthday! They grilled chicken, eggplant and zucchini. YUM!
