2007 Pawpaw Festival

The weather was gorgeous for the 2007 Pawpaw Festival! Here is Tom working the beer garden:

The kegs were EXCELLENT this year. Last year's batch was disappointing, but they were magnificent this year.

We shared a bunch of food for lunch. Spring rolls with pawpaw sauce, a pulled pork sandwich, tater salad, and some beef stew pita thing with pawpaw sauce.

Afterwards we shared a pawpaw ice cream/ginger cookie sandwich. It was the last one at the festival!

CHARLIE ON A SHELF!

Tonight, Ben and I were hanging out in the computer room, when we noticed Charlie had gotten up onto this set of shelves on the wall! Ben quickly cleared all the stuff off the shelf so that Charlie could have some room. He instantly conked out!

Today was Dad's birthday! To celebrate, we gathered at Mom and Dad's for a dinner party. Dad made little lamb patties out on the grill.

Horrifying Hibachi

Today Summer, Suzanne, Yumi and I headed to Parkersburg. We met up with Maia and her baby Ella at the Japanese Fusion Steakhouse.

Ella had never been to hibachi before, and she was HORRIFIED.

Summer tries to convince that it is exciting, not horrifying.

Nope, still horrified.

She finally got more comfortable with the hibachi action and relaxed a little. The reason you see so many pictures of Ella and none of Maia is because we would not give her back to her mother!
