Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! My family did the Turkey Trot this morning, and then Mer made us scones!

Felix and Lucy got treats too, of course.

Thankful for this delicious meal.

Apple Cooking Club

Tonight I hosted an apple-themed cooking club! Yumi made an appetizer of fried veggie and apple pakoras with a cilantro mint apple lime sauce. It was delightful!

I made an apple cider old fashioned recipe from Smitten Kitchen.

Goat cheese on top!

Valaree made an apple and cheddar crisp salad with an apple cider vinaigrette dressing.

Summer made an apple and cheddar lasagna with spinach and ricotta.

This was so delicious!

We ended the evening with an apple cake made by Heather!

It was a truly apple-icious evening. 

Happy Birthday, Little Kate!

Yesterday was Little Kate's 15th birthday! We got together tonight to celebrate her.

Honey for the Heart

Tonight was the Honey for the Heart parade on Court Street before Halloween Block Party! This is one of the most Athens events of all time!

Jasper's Halloween Hike

Jasper loves Halloween, so for his birthday this year, Vana and Joe hosted a Halloween Hike at their house! I love Halloween too, so I was excited to put on a bunch of Halloweeny stuff.

We had different stations set up through the woods for the kids to visit on their hike. I waited at my station with this Jack O'Lantern balloon. 

My station activity was monster truck temporary tattoos!

Apple Picking at Cherry Orchards

Today I went to Cherry Orchards to go apple picking! I've never been apple picking before, so I was excited. Cherry Orchards is GORGEOUS.
