Kaylee organized a surprise party at her new house to celebrate her mom's 60th birthday. It was a smashing success! She was able to gather so many good friends together!! Cheryl was totally surprised and it was so much fun.

Today was an exciting day for paddleboarding because we had not one, but TWO, special guests! Charmaine was visiting from Germany, and Ginger was visiting from Miami! It was a wonderful afternoon.

The Athena aired The Last Unicorn today as part of their summer Beat The Heat series. I may have seen the movie over a hundred times, but I've never seen it in the theater before! I could not contain my excitement!!!!!!!

I wasn't prepared for how emotional this would make me. I was practically on the verge of tears for the entire movie. It's just so GOOD! And on the big screen, with the big speakers! You could almost feel the Red Bull through the floor. Bucket list item, CHECK!
Happy Brew Week!! We had amazing weather for Top Deck dinner this year. I haven't been taking as many pictures as usual this week, but I was glad we got the board and friends together for a group photo on top of the parking garage. Cheers!
A new event debuted in Athens this summer: the Near Eastside Neighborhood Athens Porchfest! Houses throughout the east side hosted musicians and bands on their porches, and you could just wander around and hear different music throughout the neighborhood!
Mara hosted bands on her porch, so we spent some time in her front yard on South Shannon. We enjoyed tunes from Appalachian Soup Company.
