1 Badd Ride

Tonight, Ben and I bought some remote control cars! They are called 1 Badd Ride. Ben's is silver and mine is green.

Happy Birthday, Mom!

It's Mom's birthday today!!! Mer had us all over for a birthday party. Pete made some delicious salsa, and look how CUTE!!

In other news, Pete is growing a mullet! It's just a baby right now, but let's follow its progress as it grows and grows!

Snow Day!

Today we got our first real snow of the winter. Ben and I headed right on out and played in it! We sort of made a snowman, we rolled a giant snowball down a steep hill, I butt sledded, we had a snowball fight, played snowball catch, and had snowball target practice! Also we took lots of pictures and movies.

Hovercraft

Tonight, after we finished our delicious lasagna dinner, Ben busted out his hovercraft!

The hovercraft was amazing. It flew all around the house on a bed of air, just like cars are going to do in THE FUTURE!

Lasagnapology

Mr. Studlyhunk was so impressed with Ben's lasagna-eating skills that he bought us dinner this Saturday night!!! I guess it was a congratulatory gesture, since Ben beat him at two lasagna eating competitions in a row. He bought us a deluxe lasagna dinner and delivered it himself. What a GUY!

In the Crystal now

Tonight we got a big group of folks together to play euchre at the Crystal. There was this guy sitting at the bar that had been there the week before, too:

Lasagna Faceoff

Tonight, Ben's mom invited us over for her famous lasagna. Mr. Studlyhunk was invited as well. Since Ben totally won the last lasagna eating competition, Mr. Studlyhunk demanded a rematch.

Luckily, Mr. Studlyhunk and Ben can remain friends, even after such an embarassing defeat.

Happy Birthday Anne!

Summer, J, Ben and I headed up to Dayton to celebrate Anne's birthday. What an event! The night started off with laser tag, which was totally awesome. I haven't played since I was ten, in my front yard. This was in total darkness, with black lights everywhere! It was a lot of fun, even though I SUCKED!

Afterwards, we headed to Clark and Anne's for pizza and games and beer! They have the video game Guitar Hero, which is like Dance Dance Revolution but with guitars. It was totally fun.

Embroidery

I have been doing quite a bit of embroidering recently. Here are some of the things I've made!

My friend Beth commissioned me to do a portrait of her friend's cat Leopold as a Christmas gift.

Anne is really into owls these days, so I embroidered an owl onto a hoodie for her:
