Thanksgiving Leftovers

Tonight we headed back up to Mom and Dad's to work on the Thanksgiving Leftovers. Baby Kate has developed a new game where she helps Grandpa eat his dinner! He picks out what he'd like to have a bite of, and she prepares a bit and feeds it to him.

Proud because she's a great helper!

After dinner, Kate and Mr. Studlyhunk hung out in the kitchen for awhile.

I don't know what they were talking about in there, but he had her cracking UP!

Then she took her baby and Mr. Studlyhunk on a ride in the stroller. I swear, he'd do anything for that kid!

The last event of the night was a game of "Find Grandpa!"

Then it was time to go home.

This year was the best Thanksgiving ever!

Thanksgiving

Our turkey this year was a local guy from King Family Farm. Look how beautiful!

Petey and Elise were hanging around, anxious for some turkey.

Everyone wanted to check out the turkey! Baby Kate went in for a poke:

There goes Elise!

Mr. Studlyhunk helped make sure the turkey was up to temp.

Mmm.

Grandpa and Baby K8!

Mer making some brussel sprouts.

Pete and Kate did some drawings before dinner.

Dinner time!

That's an awfully big helping of turkey!

Mr. Studlyhunk's plate.

Elise showing off her big drumstick!

PIE!! Mer made a Girl Pie for the little ones.

Kate got to have the whipped cream beater. LUCKY!

PIE!!!

Lucy ate WAY too much stuffing.

Coffeechimo

This morning, I went over to Mer's to have a cappucino! Baby Kate likes to have them too, except hers are made with only steamed milk, and she calls them "coffeechimo!"

CHEERS!

Mmm!

ANOTHER piano

Tonight we met up at Jackie O's to celebrate Leah's birthday! We were excited for them to open up their new half so that we could play shuffleboard! As soon as it was open, we headed over. Their shuffleboard is HUGE!

After playing for awhile, we look over and see that there is a piano sitting there. There is a group of guys surrounding it, discussing how it needs to be moved up onto the stage, and talking strategy for how to get it up there. One of them looks over at Ben, notices his biceps, and says "YOU! Over here!" Poor Ben! This is piano number FIVE that he has had to help move in the past two years! (See: First time, second time, third time, fourth time.) That's what you get for being so strong!
