DOUBLE THANKSGIVING! Part Two.

We had such a fun and delicious Thanksgiving last night that we were totally pumped to get up and do it all over again today!

We kicked things off with leftover turkey sandwiches for lunch at Mom's house. This year she had the GENIUS idea to make them on thanksgiving ROLLS. How had I never thought of this before?!?!? Behold the deliciousness:

Then we headed out to Vana's this evening for Thanksgiving Dinner Part Two! Yang and Moss made us all a round of naughty Bloody Marys with wiener garnishes.

Cheers!

Then it was time to eat! There was SO MUCH FOOD.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Look at the size of that bowl of mashed potatoes!!! It was HUGE!!!! Like, I don't know if you can get a good sense of proportion from this photo, but let me just tell you that I definitely could have sat in that bowl and my butt is not small!!

Yay!!

Oh, hello. Time for dessert. Pumpkin pie and apple pie!

And buttermilk pie!

AND MAGIC COOKIE BARS!!!

Mmmmmm.

Of course, after dessert, things took a nerdy turn as all the guys got their smartphones out.

Geeking it up!!

Here they are all comparing to try and prove whose iPhone has the best display.

This led to a whole series of phone challenges, which are documented in the following video. Happy Thanksgiving!

DOUBLE THANKSGIVING! Part One.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Ben and I are super lucky because this year we get to have Thanksgiving twice. DOUBLE THANKSGIVING!!! Since Vana is working today, we're celebrating with Ben's family tomorrow night. We gathered at Mer, Pete and Kate's house tonight for a delicious feast.

We started off with some appetizers. Veggies! Look at those gorgeous watermelon radishes!!

I made sugared cranberries, inspired by Nancy! I love these. I must have eaten 3,000 of them in the past two days.

Using the simple syrup that I soaked the sugared cranberries in, Mom and I made a big batch of cranberry-orange mojitos!

These also featured the syrup I strained from my orange cranberry sauce. Most delicious holiday cocktail ever!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Dad is pointing at something.

Army of pies!

Prosecco. Cheers!

Look at that big, glorious turkey from King Family Farm!

Carve master!

Gravy master!

Craig and Moss arranged the rolls on the tray.

Uncle Mark had a monkey in his drink!

Check out Ben and Cheryl's coordinating outfits!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Yum!!!!!!!!!!

Since Craig was tardy to the table, we only allowed him to have a tiny bite of dinner.

Time to make whipped cream!

Kate supervised.

Kate thought she didn't like whipped cream, but she was wrong!

While we were getting the pies ready, the Miller boys were geeking out in the living room.

To aid with our digestion and make more room for pie, we all did a shot of Underberg.

Cheers!

Underburg!

Pies! We had pumpkin, apple, and chocolate buttermilk.

Ed was doing his fancy pose.

Look at his fancy paws!

Full from pie, time for some more geeking.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Can't wait to do it all again tomorrow night!

It's Busytown! Uncle Ben got her a pickle car to drive around with the Busytown friends.

Time to set it up!

Coming along nicely! We had to pry Kate away when it was time to eat!

Remember the awesome bunny night light I got for my birthday? Kate has been hoping for one of her own, so I got one for her for her birthday!
