Moving The Piano (Again)

Tom is moving to England, and Leah is buying a house, so Tom sold Leah his piano. Ben and I went to help move it this afternoon. TJ was there too!

Look familiar?

Ben took a little rest when we got to the piano's new, temporary destination.

It ALWAYS makes me nervous to watch this piano get moved!

The handoff!!

What a perfect meal for a man that's done some heavy lifting! Cheryl had us over that night for meatloaf, mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy, macaroni and cheese, broccoli with cheese sauce and garlic bread. MMMMM!!!!

A Visit from Leighanna and Ryan!

Leighanna and Ryan were in town from Detroit for the holidays, so we all met up at Tony's to spend time together! Summer treated everyone to a round of Tony's Hot Nuts!

The Guinness was delicious that night. Look at that Guinness 'stache!

Ben had one too!

And me! No one can do it like Rose can, though. I'm not sure how she does it!

Ben and Summer!

We all thought that Ryan looked SO much like this guy Brian that went to my high school. So he went and stood near him and we took some stealth photos:

DOESN'T HE!??!

We went to Broney's afterwards for a little while, then called it a night. It was great to see everyone!

Christmas Eve at the Cabin

After the Erlewine Family Party, Ben and I headed to Meigs County to spend the night at Dennis's cabin! This is my third year celebrating Christmas Eve there, but my first year spending the night! I really liked spending the night, especially because it's scary to walk down the path to the cars in the dark!!! And it was fun to wake up and get to have breakfast all together. The night consisted of the usual awesome stuff: lasagna, games, whiskey, laughs, etc.

Erlewine Family White Elephant Gift Exchange

Tonight we celebrated a new tradition in our family! An Erlewine Family White Elephant Gift Exchange! Dan and Amy were the party hosts. It was a potluck with tons of delicious food, and the gift exchange was super fun! I ended up with an awesome Rossi Pasta gift set. YUM.

Decorating the Trees

Tonight we went out to Cheryl's house to help her decorate her tree! We put our tree up a couple of weeks ago. Here it is:

Another tree!

Oh, look who it is!

A few months ago, Charlie jumped on the box holding my green ceramic tree, and it BROKE. So mom found a woman who could make me a new one. I went with white this time. She had never made one before, and she poked like two times as many holes as these trees usually have. WHICH IS AWESOME:

Okay, here we are out at Cheryl's!

Vana looks like she is conducting a symphony as we discuss options for the tree.

Cutiepie! In your face!

Hanging ornaments.

Ben's new look. Ornament hanger as earring. Isn't it tough??!

Cheryl made pizzas and they were SO GOOD.
