I made endive boats.
Smitten Kitchen endives with oranges and almonds. So light and refreshing!
Emily Singer made succotash.
Nancy's sister Valeree Hemighaus was visiting, so we had a guest star! She made halloumi salad. Look at all that squeaky, deliious halloumi!
We had another guest star, Nancy Doran! She made daikon and carrot salad.
Yumi Choe made charred cauliflower with chimichurri sauce.
Valerie Kinnard made kabobs! Houdini's Magical Tuna Kabobs with Pineapple Glaze. Magical because they disappear fast!
Nancy also made these darling Hello, My Name is Vodka! jello shots.

Valaree also brought some handmade vodka.
So we had chilled lemon drops!
We did not wait fifteen minutes before swimming.
After a hearty combo of swimming and euchre, we had worked up enough of an appetite for dessert.
Summer Seaman made S'mores ice cream sandwiches! OMG. Homemade graham crackers, homemade ice cream, homemade marshmallows and homemade chocolate sauce. THEY WERE FABULOUS.
