Fruity Cooking Club

Summer hosted the June cooking club, and the theme was Fruity! Summer, Yumi and I were the chefs this month. We kicked things off with Peach and Aperol Bellinis. Cheers!

Yumi got us started with a nectarine, heirloom tomato and whipped feta salad.

Everything was so fresh and summery and delicious!



For the next course, we had Thai chicken with watermelon. The sauce on this was AMAZING.



We played Beyond Balderdash and laughed a lot.

I was in charge of dessert, a four-layer lemon cake with lemon curd, frosted with lemon cream cheese buttercream frosting. Plus raspberries!

This cake was as good as it looks and almost everyone had seconds. Huzzah to fruity cooking club!
