A Visit from Jenny and Kyle!

Jenny and Kyle came to visit for the weekend! We had tons of fun. Friday night, we played Pictionary! Saturday we went swimming at Strouds, and played frisbee and ate fruit. For lunch we went to Taco John's! Jenny got the infamous Super Potato Oles! Tator tots, nachos-style:

I topped my lunch off with a delicious cookies and cream frozen yogurt!

That night, we went to The Union. Gin for Jenny, whiskey for me.

After that, we headed to Tony's so we could all have delicious hot nuts.

Mmm!

Feta Dill Bread

For Ben's birthday, Suzanne gave him the gift of bread, to be redeemed at any time. We decided to redeem one this weekend, and to invite Suzanne over for dinner to enjoy it with us! I made salmon and baked potatoes.

Then Ben picked up the second half of the loaf and started buttering it saying "I'm just gonna go ahead and eat this piece, okay?" Hahahah!

Happy Graduation, Kayla!

Kayla graduated from Athens High School this weekend! To celebrate, Cheryl threw an open house party! There was tons of delicious food. Sandwich fixings, hummus, chips, veggies, tortellini, cake, etc! Class of 2007!

Columbus Shopping Trip

Today, Yumi, Summer, Suzanne and I went to Columbus to celebrate Yumi's birthday! We had a sushi lunch at Hama in Easton! Summer got a fancy and very spicy roll:

After lunch, Summer and I shared both of these. Sam Adam's Cherry Wheat ON TAP (tastes like a freaking cherry waffle cone mmmm), and a dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives:

Later that afternoon, Yumi and I headed to Anthropologie. I love going there just to see what the employees have come up with for decorations. They always have the most creative people decorating the place, and this time they had strung a bunch of Dum-Dum suckers all over the store. I thought they looked so cheerful and great, so I took a bunch of pictures of them.

This evening, I went out for some beers with Gina and Vana! We ended up at Casa, where I got to unipeg my parents for the first time, along with a bunch of other newbies! Yay!

Memorial Day

We celebrated Memorial Day with a cookout and corn hole at Gina's house! We grilled hot dogs and cheeseburgers and enjoyed the sunshine. I also got to go for a convertible ride in Suzanne's new Midget! It was a nice afternoon full of fun.

Euchre and Cheese Doodles

Tonight, Ben, Gina, Rose and I got together for some Euchre. I decided to bust out some cheese snacks to share with my guests. Then, Gina showed up with cheese snacks TOO!!! Moon sister! So funny. Gina brought puffy Conn's Cheese Curls (although they weren't curly at all, as Ben pointed out, they should have been called "Cheese Logs" or "Cheese Tubes"), and I had baked crunchy Cheetos!

Leighanna's Bridal Shower

Today we all gathered out in the country at Rabecca and Leighanna's parents' house for a bridal shower! It was a fancy affair, with cucumber sandwiches and fancy punch! We played games and ate cake and laughed and had presents! Congratulations, Leighanna!
