So Adam just FTP'd me a bunch of awesome pictures of Charlie and Emma. They are pies. Pies made of cuteness. I can't stand it!!!
First, we have Charlie on the green towel in the kitchen. He always lays like that, curled in a circle but with one leg sticking out. Like a little handle. I always walk up and kiss it. "Oh! Are you sticking this little white paw out for me TO KISSSS???? I thought so! Mwah!"
Next up, we have Charlie on the couch. Getting happier and happier AND HAPPIER. When he gets really happy he twists himself into a little ball and sort of flips upside down. He looks like a little pile of paws.
And finally, Charlie and Emma on the stairs!!!!
While I'm here I should update upon my weekend I suppose. Friday night I stayed in and did some cleaning around the house. My plan was to go to bed early because Adam and I had a wedding to go to Saturday morning at 10:00. So I was in bed by 1:00, reading a magazine, then Adam came in to see if I wanted to play Trivial Pursuit. I ALWAYS want to play games. So we started a game of turbo, where you get a wedge every time you get anything right whether or not you're on a hub. By the time I HAD to go to sleep (2:30?) we were tied.
Carrie and Brian's wedding was a long ceremony, it lasted until about noon. Then there was a reception at the new University Rotunda. We had lunch, champagne, wine and cake! Carrie looked beautiful. That afternoon, since Leighanna was in town, we hung out. I took her, her brother Nathan, and her cousin Georgi and husband Joe up to The Ridges, because Leighanna had never been! We hung out in the sun and talked. Eventually we started to get hungry so we met up with Adam and Yumi and went to Rio Grande. Mmm. Fajita Burrito. For when you're just too lazy to deal with regular fajitas.
Afterward we hit the bars. We played darts at Tony's for a long time! Then we went to the Union for the rest of the night. After hours at my house, which included dancing and D.P. Dough.
Sunday night we went over to Mom and Dad's for a Father's Day celebration. PIZZA PARTY! We ordered four delicious flavors of pizza from Avalanche. We also had salads. It was fun! When we pulled up, Dad was sitting out on the rock playing guitar.
