Happy Birthday, Dennis!

Today is Dennis's birthday! We did a lot of celebrating. Yesterday my parents, my parents' friends Jay and Carol, and Ben and I headed down to Dennis's land. The day started off rainy but cleared up just for us!

We had a delicious lunch of grilled ciabatta sandwiches with pesto, tomato and mozzarella. Plus fruits salad and chips!

Then tonight the whole family went out to Casa for dinner. Mmm, tacos! Then we headed back to our place for cake and ice cream. I made a golden layer cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. The only picture I managed to get from ALL of this celebrating was one photo of the cake!
