Gravel Rouser Grab N' Git

Summer, Leah, Mr. Studlyhunk and I worked a checkpoint at the Grab & Git this year. Mr. Studlyhunk set up our orange flag.

Summer brought the champagne!

Hahahahaha, ALWAYS funny.

Mr. Studlyhunk practiced some putting moves while we waited for our first racer.

Group photo!

Summer showed us some of her color guard moves while we waited!

Hahahahaha, like I said, ALWAYS FUNNY!

Our first racer!!

Racers had to putt the ball into the hole, and we recorded how many strokes it took them.

Ben sunk it in two strokes!!

Finish line party!

Joey announcing the winners, and oh look, there's Aaron in the foreground.

VICTORY!!

Bike Polo

This evening, Ben and I headed over to bike polo to spectate.

One of the new rules this year is that it is STRONGLY SUGGESTED that everyone wear a polo shirt.

I was doing some burping, and Ben said that I always make a certain face right before I belch. After several tries, he caught the expression on film! BUUUUUURP!

Gravel Rouser Easter Eggstravaganza

Today I suited up in my Bunny Suit and headed to Dow Lake Dam to play the part of the Easter Bunny. I headed into the woods with Atira, Michelle and Suzanne to hide eggs for the final race of the Fifth Annual Gravel Rouser weekened. The eggs contained prizes such as chocolates and gift certificates!

Fifth Annual Gravel Rouser Grab N Git

Leah and I volunteered as checkpoint girls for this year's Gravel Rouser Grab N Git City Scramble. Our station was the set of stairs behind Bryan Hall. Leah played guitar to entertain the cyclists, and I failed miserably at keeping track fo how many racers had been through:

There were like twenty at once! It was IMPOSSIBLE to keep track! The women's winners:

And the men!

Cupcakes and beer a.k.a. heaven:

Look at how bright Aaron is in his flourescent outfit!

After the race, I went to Tony's for a little while and Pencil requested a unicorn pegagus!

Fourth Annual Grab & Git City Scramble

This year, as usual, my agenda for the Gravel Rouser weekend is to stop by as many races as possible, drink the beer, and take pictures of the racers! My favorite event of the weekend is by far the Grab & Git. This year, Ben rode with me as I drove to each check point in an attempt to capture racers as they collected their proof that they stopped by.

After the race, we partied at my sister's house! Beer and chili! Good times!
