Nelsonville was the home of the Paul Bunyan Festival, a timber industry trade show, for over 75 years. This year, the Ohio Forestry Association decided to relocate the Paul Bunyan Show to Guernsey County, and thus Nelsonville was no longer allowed to use the name "Paul Bunyan Festival" for their event. ROBBED!! I don't know if we got there too late in the day, but pretty much all there was to see was:
LOG ROLLING!
And CHAINSAWIN'!
I really wanted to see Paul Bunyan, but he must have been at the OTHER festival.
