Moving a Musician

This weekend, a family friend moved to Athens! His name is Paul and he is a musician. He was living in Rhode Island, but wanted to be in a more central location so that he could get to his gigs more easily. We rounded up a bunch of strong guys and helped him move! The truck was filled with furniture and lots and lots of records.

Once everything had been unpacked, it was time for the Grand Finale. Paul's piano!

Ben is practically a professional piano mover at this point. Since we met, this is his SIXTH piano that he's helped move! (First time, second time, third time, fourth time, fifth time).

Watching people move pianos makes me pretty nervous.

It takes a lot of concentration and strength. The ramp is the scariest part to watch!

Making its way into the house!

Push!

Dad found some tools that he could help with!

Helping! Hahaha. Look at Kirby's face.

Me taking a picture of Dad helping.

Dad, Paul and a huge board.

Yay, it's in! And it fits!

There was actually one last thing in the truck. A soccer ball. Kate had the honor of removing that!

It was a successful move. Welcome to Athens, Paul!
