Ohio Brew Week 2022

Happy Brew Week! On Wednesday, we went to Top Deck Dinner. The weather was hot and sunny! The tables had gorgeous bouquets from Jack Neal Floral!

We enjoyed five courses prepared by Chef Andrew Wenmoth of Cutler's and beer pairings by Jackie O's Brewery. The first course was a fried green tomato soup, with grilled cucumber relish, paired with Speed Shop pilsner.

Course number two was a kale Waldorf salad, paired with Static Flow hazy IPA. Delicious!

Course number three was a spicy halibut cheek bouilliabase ramen, paired with Perpetum sour. Halibut is my favorite fish, and the cheeks were delicious!

Course number four was a smoked tritip with poblano and birds eye chimichurri, paired with Chomolungma brown ale. I loooove poblanos and they really shined here.

The Ohio Brew Week Top Deck Dinners are always amazing! They work so hard to pull off this event.

The final course was a buttered popcorn pot du crème paired with Bourbon Barrel Dark Apparition. YUM!! Such a great dessert!

On Thursday, Michele and I went to Jackie O's for a beer tasting and tour.


It was fun to tour the facility!

The Bagel Street food truck was there, so of course we got that for dinner!

I got a Debbie Debbie Debbie on a jalapeño cheddar bagel.

Saturday was Last Call.
