Family Portrait

This week was the five-year anniversary of adopting our sweet boy, Felix! He sure has completed our little family. I love him so much! We took some family photos to commemorate the occasion.

Emily and Marc hosted a get-together for New Year's Eve! Look at Emily's gorgeous cheese platter.

Jeaux Burreaux

Like tons of other families in Athens and surrounding areas, my family was pretty excited about Joe Burrow winning the Heisman trophy! We got together to watch him play for LSU in the Peach Bowl. My favorite thing about sports is SNACKS! Inspired by Cheryl, Mer put together an antipasto spread!



And I made crabcake poppers with horseradish dipping sauce.



What a meal!



Petey is pretty into football.

Kate played Santa. I got the biggest present this year!! It was some wind chimes I've been wanting!



That evening, we regathered at Mer and Pete's for dinner. Ben, Pete and Dad showing off their hats from Uncle Mark! They feature his band's logo, www.Twang.



I made wedge salads!



Mer made simmered beef and onions. Everything was delicious!
