NBIA Dance Party

Ever since our new coworker Tom joined us, he's been wanting to have an NBIA Dance Party. He'll hope up on his dance and bust a move above the cubes.

Since this week was a short, three day week, we figured it was the perfect time to have it!

I went out and bought a disco ball. Cheryl loaned Tom her disco light, and the office was instantly a dance party.

Charlie Looks Like an Owl!

Adam made this little cat bed inside an old speaker cabinet. He hardly ever goes inside it, but he did today! He looked JUST like an owl in it's tree. It kept cracking me up.

Seriously, look:

Doesn't he look just like an owl in a tree?

Kitty time!

HOOT! HOOT!

Handsome.

I pet Emma while Charlie watches from inside the speaker.

HOOT HOOT HOOT, little owl!

I decided to join the kitties and put on my cat ears. Charlie and Emma STARED at me.

Charlie seriously would not stop looking up at the top of my head.

Stare.

Extreme closeup of EXTREME handsomeness.

Time to bust out the cat toys.

Emma wants to KILL that toy.

GET it!

Pow!

Charlie emerges from the owl hole to help attack.

Then he sat on the speaker for awhile, looking handsome.

Girl's Weekend in Columbus

Ashley hosted a Girl's Weekend at her apartment in Columbus! On Friday night, we played Pit, ate Mexican food, and made a bunch of toasts with a bottle of wine.

Saturday, we went shopping! We ate lunch at the Blue Nile, an Ethiopian restaraunt. I had never had Ethiopian before, and it was awesome!

That night, we went to our friend Amy's housewarming party. It was awesome. There was a guacamole contest AND hanky pankies at the same party! YUM.

We took a lot of pictures. Poor Ashley didn't have a real camera so she had to pretend.

Jenny and Kara!

Mmm, Miller High Life Lite. Timeless!

We played Pit. SO fun.

I'm rapping or something?

On Saturday we went for coffee.

Jenny!

Moonville

Today after work, Summer, Yumi and I drove to the Moonville Tunnel. I had never been there before, but boy had I heard the ghost stories! It actually was pretty creepy, but it was pretty late and turning dark rather quickly. I'd like to go again in the broad daylight!

Halloween Party!

To celebrate Halloween, I had a party at my house! There was chili and taco dip. Mmm. Down the street at the crack house, they were having a keg party to celebrate the finale of the Thunder Bunny's Terror. So we bopped back and forth between the two houses.

After drinking and dancing and eating, we headed uptown to check out the crowd! It was a big, fun crowd this year and there were lots of fun costumes. We made our way through the crowd and convened at the Union for more fun. Happy Halloween!

Thunder Bunny

On Halloween weekend, there was a race to celebrate the grand opening of a new trail at Stroud's Run: The Thunder Bunny! The race was called Thunder Bunny's Terror, and it was a 2 mile mountain bike time trial race.

Adam competed in the race dressed like a shark! Anne, Ashley, Clark and I watched and took pictures of the excitement.

Trick or Treat!

My cousin Dan is in town visiting, and he brought his 19 month-old daughter, Elise! Last night I went over to his house and joined them and Uncle Tom as they handed out candy to Trick or Treaters.
