Honeymoon: Day Three

Day Three was a travel day. We definitely made the most of our last morning in Kona though. We got up early, hit the breakfast buffet, and then went back to Kahalu'u Beach Park for some more snorkeling!

Then we packed up our suitcases and headed to the airport. There are Mustang convertibles EVERYWHERE in Hawaii. Look, there was another blue one just like ours right behind us in the hotel parking lot! And a silver one next to that one! They were EVERYWHERE.

The drive to the airport.

Ben was cracking up over the fact that one of the airport flight information displays had crashed. It was pretty funny. WHOOPS!

Hahahahahah!!!!!!

Our little plane! We flew to Honolulu and then off to Kauai.

We flew into the Lihue airport, and had about an hour and a half drive to Hanalei Bay on the north shore, where we were staying. It was evening at that point, so we picked up a pizza at Hanalei Pizza and some beer in town, and unpacked. Here is a tour of the house! We called it the Jungle House. Look at it all nestled up there in the jungle! View from the bottom of the driveway.

The driveway.

Out back.

The path through the jungle behind the house.

We stayed in the upstairs unit. Kitchen!

Living room. That brown leather chair on the left is a massage chair and it was AWESOME.

There was a great screened porch area with a table and a window seat.

There's Ben on the window seat!

The guest room. It was nice to have an empty room, because we could fill it up with our suitcases and mess of belongings and then shut the door!

Our bedroom.

It was so wonderful to wake up to the morning sun and views of the rainforest every day!
